Description
The 2016 G63 AMG W463 is one of the last representatives of the “old school” G-Class. This particular model combined a classic, raw character with modern technologies and brutal performance. It was the epitome of luxury, power, and unique style.
Under the hood works a 5.5-liter biturbo V8 engine (M157) that produces:
- 571 hp at 5500 rpm
- 760 Nm of torque available from 1750 rpm
Even though the “Gelenda” is nearly a 2.6-ton colossus, it reaches 100 km/h in just 5.4 seconds—a performance worthy of sports cars, not of a boxy SUV designed for off-road driving.
The 4MATIC all-wheel drive, three differential lock mechanisms, and the 7-speed automatic AMG SPEEDSHIFT PLUS 7G-TRONIC gearbox ensure that the vehicle handles just as well on asphalt as it does off-road.
