Description
The car arrived “on wheels” straight from London. This was the second example we prepared for this client. The vehicle was disassembled, and the body was sent for sandblasting. After removing the paint, the metal was found to be in good condition, with the rear fenders and sills being the most damaged, so they were replaced with new ones. The hood was repaired, and a new, improved frame was imported from England.
The client also ordered special, adjustable shock absorbers front and rear, custom-made sport discs, and lightweight alloy calipers. The radiator was replaced with an aluminum one, and twin fans were installed. We also installed an air conditioning system after some minor modifications. The engine and components were rebuilt and restored.
After painting, we proceeded with upholstery work, including sewing the roof, which turned out really well for the first attempt.
The completed project was loaded onto a trailer and delivered to London. Its final destination was Portugal, where the car now delights its owners during sunny summer days.
