Model
Jaguar
Mark X
Specification
The Jaguar MKX, initially known as the Jaguar 3.8 MKX, debuted in 1961. This model was the continuation of the "MK" series, which included earlier models such as the MK I and MK II. However, the MKX was a more advanced and luxurious vehicle, designed to compete with Rolls-Royce and Bentley limousines.
The MKX was powered by a 3.8-litre inline engine, which was one of the most powerful engines in the company's range at the time. This engine produced around 220 horsepower. The use of modern suspension and steering technologies made the Jaguar offer not only comfort but also good driving properties. In a later stage, an improved version called the 420G was introduced, equipped with a 4.2-litre engine.
Description
The Jaguar Mark X arrived at our workshop from a private collector with the goal of restoring it to its former glory. We began with a thorough evaluation of the vehicle.
We carried out comprehensive bodywork, removing dents and repairing damage to the body. Then, we proceeded to paint the vehicle, using high-quality paints that restored the car’s original colour.
The interior of the vehicle was restored by replacing the upholstery with new, handmade ones. We also modernised all the interior trim elements, paying attention to their aesthetics.
The Jaguar’s mechanical and electronic systems were thoroughly inspected and renovated. The engine runs smoothly, and the suspension and braking system have been modernised for better performance. All electronic systems, including navigation and audio, have been updated and tested.
